Course Description
ESRS S4 addresses how companies affect the people who use their products and services — consumers and end-users. Product safety, data privacy, algorithmic fairness, accessibility, responsible marketing, and the protection of vulnerable consumers are all within scope.
S4 is the standard where traditional product liability meets digital-age concerns. The EU AI Act, GDPR, the General Product Safety Regulation, the revised Product Liability Directive, the Digital Services Act, and the Empowering Consumers for the Green Transition Directive all interact with S4 disclosure obligations.
This masterclass covers all 5 Disclosure Requirements plus practical modules on product safety and the precautionary principle, data privacy and AI ethics, vulnerable consumers and inclusive design, and the financial and regulatory landscape.
